America’s Cup Rematch With US

Emirates Team New Zealand played a sailing match against Oracle Team USA to achieve 5^th America’s cup.

It bet Artemis Racing of Sweden in the Challenger Final in Bermuda. The New Zealand team is now all geared up to avenge their defeat by the team of U.S that took place in 2013. The hot favorites of the team are Glenn Ashby, who is the team leader and Peter Burling. They made an attempt to bounce back last week while racing Land Rover BAR as they got their 50 foot catamaran and wing foil repaired just in time. They had to beat the British team so as to proceed to the Challenger final round.

Artemis Racing did fight well, but the New Zealand crew members consistently fought till the end. Burling was driving the speed craft calmly around the Great Sound in Bermuda with his cycles pedaling continues to provide the power required to keep things under control.

The New Zealand crew had a great celebration after they finished crossing the line a minute before the Swedish boat. The first race had to be stopped in between due to weather conditions which made the teams drift sway. However, the 2^nd race was quite an interesting one as Burling sailed brilliantly. His main objective was to achieve victory from his long time competitor.

The boat is moving at a great speed and the team is in good shape to compete with Oracle as per Burling. He paid tribute to the race put up by Artemis in extreme weather conditions. The Louis Vuitton America’s Cup match is about to begin on 17^th June. The one race will be started by Oracle Team USA as they were winners in the qualifying series. Well, the rematch with U.S will indeed be an exciting one to watch and people are anxiously waiting to see the winner.
